Found this item cheaper at a local "Bed, Bath and Beyond" store ($79).

This product works as advertised. It has three parts:

1. The base (which plugs into the wall and provides the electricity)
2. The decanter which contains the electrics that heats the milk. There is a socket under the decanter the plugs into and sits loosely the base.
3. The removeable lid that has a stirrer attached to it.
3. The stirrer, which is a tiny wire whisk that you can remove when you only want to heat the milk.

Its very easy to operate... You put the correct amount of milk into the decanter(There are two fill lines, one for froth, and one for hot milk), place the decanter onto the base and press a button. The wire whisk spins around as the unit heats the milk and you get a nice single serving of froth. Remove the whisk and you can simply heat up the milk. The unit shuts itself off automatically when it is finished properly frothing or heating your milk. There's no guesswork at all.

Not only does this product prevent you from cooling off your coffee with cold milk, it makes your coffee look and taste better too. Funny how simply placing a layer of froth on the top of your coffee makes it look ten times more appealing. We tried it using Mocha, Donut Shop, and Butter Toffee flavors. It worked great in each one of those.

After you're done, it's very easy to clean up. Just rinse the decanter out with water (and dish-soap if you want) and rinse off the whisk and stirrer.

Is it worth $80? We think so because, like the Keurig, there's no guess work. Just pour in the milk and press a button.

Its great for getting creative with your coffee! For instance, we created a layered mocha: Pour the froth on the bottom of the cup, add Chocolate Syrup and then the coffee on top of that.
Worth the Money

I bought this because I am a Keurig lover. I just happened across it on the shelf at Kohls and thought what a great idea! Sometimes I do feel like a little more than regular coffee or tea so I figured I would give it a try.
If you just want steamed milk I don't think it's worth the $80 price tag. When I frothed I was in heaven. I did a French Roast on the smallest setting of the maker, then added the same amount of liquid in steamed milk and topped with froth and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Beats spending the money at Starbucks or Dunkin Dounuts and tastes better.

It is a little pricey, but deals are out there. I got mine on sale, then had a 15% off coupon and some Kohls bucks. So mine came to a little over $50.

Pros: Keurig brand. Well made and reliable. Easy to use, pour in milk, put on the charger and press button. In 90 seconds it's done. Turns off automatically.
A great gift especially for someone with a Keurig maker.

Cons: Finding that I am wasting some milk, not using all that it makes. It might be better for 2 cups instead of 1.

We received this item as a gift this Christmas 2009. We were a bit skeptical - but we tried it once and are hooked!

We have had the fancy espresso machines that make frothed milk - and although they work fine they are hard to clean. We have subsisted on good coffee and cream for years now. Until this past weekend. We broke out this gadget and were amazed.

It is easy to use - although we found you should rinse it out after each use to avoid scorched milk. Just a rinse - no need to really clean it.

It works like a charm. Use after use - so far we have averaged 4 cups per day for past few days. It is also very quiet - no big noise or mess.

A must have for any cappuccino or Latte lover!
Definately Worth it!!!

I bought this at Bed Bath and Beyond with my coupon and gift cards that I received for Christmas. I was wondering if it would be worth the money.....YES!!!! Not only is it good for my Tea that I brew in my Keurig I already owned, but my son that can't drink Hot Chocolate I make him steamed milk and add vanilla syrup to it and it's a treat for him!! Now I'm thinking I don't need to buy any more of those flavored creamers we used to use. This makes your drink so much better!! I love the easy clean up. My only question to any of you that have used it is, Have you tried anything other than skim milk in it? I was wondering if I could use egg nog to make an egg nog chai (they are wonderful at Star Bucks).

Con: you have to wait a few minutes to brew the second round of steamed milk.
Sweet frother, how I love you.

I'm not a morning person, but I practically jump out of bed knowing that I will have a delicious chai tea. This frother does a tremendous job just heating or heating and frothing milk for hot beverages. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It isn't cheap, but it keeps me from spending $ at Starbucks! Love it and strongly recommend it!
LOVE it!

This milk frother was given to me over the holidays, and I've used it almost every day since. It turns 1% milk into absolutely to-die-for velvety foam. And all you have to do is pour in the milk, pop on the lid, and press the power button. My only warning: it tends to overflow a bit if you fill it to its highest marking, but the smaller portion is more than enough to top off a large cup of coffee. In two weeks of nearly constant use, it's definitely served me well, and I am VERY happy!
NO MORE STARBUCK OR DUNKIN OR TIM HORTONS!!

Reviewer: Michelle Semski,
I absolutely love this little gadget. I didn't have any of the problems that were listed below. I leave it on the counter and every morning while my coffee is quickly brewing in my keurig, I froth my milk in the frother. Pour them together and leave for work with my coffee that is just as good as any coffee shop, with very little effort.

Before Keurig I had a massive coffee maker with a milk frothing attachment on the side. As much as I love lattes, capps, and I really love Chai. I only used it a few times, because it was far too cumbersome to clean and use. I'd get milk everywhere, and the coffee didn't brew well anyway.

I love brewing Chai Tea and adding in the steamed milk, or steaming the powder. It's just all around a great little product.
One minute froth!

Didn't know that a "Frother" worked that well, or that quickly! The frother is just great and the service was great too!
